ABSTRACT

The paper discusses the issue of system transformation in large state owned hospitals. Proceeding from the service features of large state owned hospitals under the market economy, it expounds the relationship between system transformation and change in government functions, clarifies the impact of the state owned assets management mechanism on system transformation, proposes basic channels for the plurality of assets structure, identifies the significance of ensuring the objectivity and mechanism of share holding by the management and staff, and stresses the position and role of corporate management.

ABSTRACT

Hospitals, obliged to resort to marketing as a result of changing external environment, ought to take the concept of patient-centered marketing as the core of their marketing activities. They can better meet the needs of patients by making their marketing plans more effective through market subdivision and target market selection. The features of medical service determine the role of credit in the evaluation of medical service. Differentiation, two major methods of which are service quality and brand creation, is a means of avoiding price war, over-competition and vicious competition while positioning refers to patients' understanding and the goal of a hospital's differentiation.

ABSTRACT

As a successful mode of hospital reform, the hospital group offers the key to the solution of some major problems hindering the development of hospitals. The objective of setting up a hospital group is to better realize the strategic goals of the hospitals.
